VISION
21ST CENTURY UCONN
REGIONAL CAMPUSES PROVIDE TOP CHOICE IN EDUCATION STATEWIDE

UCONN 2000's impact extends to each of the University's five regional campuses. UConn's regional campuses provide students statewide with the academic opportunities of a major university combined with the intimacy of small college settings in local communities. At these campuses several thousand students pursue a quality UConn education while benefiting from the flexibility of being close to work and home. UCONN 2000 investments in regional campus facilities have provided the impetus to refine the academic role and scope of each campus and to tailor programs to regional strengths.

Renovations and improvements to the Greater Hartford, Torrington, and Waterbury regional campuses complement the academic commitment underlying the recently established UConn Tri-Campus. This active partnership combines the educational resources of these three campuses to allow students enrolled at any of the three sites to travel among campuses to complete course requirements and obtain bachelor's degrees. The goal of UConn Tri-Campus is to make selected bachelor degrees available to students who prefer to complete University undergraduate programs in their home communities.
