The University of Connecticut Health Center encompasses the Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine - both ranked nationally for professional preparation and research - the John Dempsey Hospital, the UConn Medical Group and UConn Health Partners, and University Dentists. In 2000-01, the School of Dental Medicine was ranked the top dental school in the country, based on students' test scores on the National Board Dental Examinations.
