and financial aid into a single Office
reporting to the Provost. Appoint a director

assure that need-blind admissions is
not compromised. The Office would be
charged to handle all aspects of admission
as well as coordinate with other offices

Credit activities include a collaboration
between ECE and Nursing on two advanced practice programs for post-masters
degree nurses. Non-credit activities include the Executive Education
collaboration between ECE and SBA. In Fairfield County, community-based
planning efforts have give use to 1) CITI (see also report), including
concentrations for BGS to ensure better articulation with community-technical
college offerings and 2) coordination with Norwalk Community-Technical
College to reduce duplication of non-credit offerings. Compressed
video capability has led to a series of hi-tech programs offered
in conjunction with the Institute for Material Science and the
Environmental Research Institute. Labor Education Center and Allied
Health have developed Occupational Safety Program. Nursing has
created two advanced practice nurse certificate programs. |
